Best OGN I've read in quite some time, but how DO you pronounce "Agiorgitiko"?!?

I’m flying solo with this one, as Dallas is STILL traveling for the holidays. Because…I actually have no idea.

I went to Michigan for Xmas, and my parents suggested we start talking on a weekly basis. Which just about blew my mind: we’re one of those nuclear families that coasts on touching base 2-3 times per year, absolute max. To go from a phone call (and now zoom call, natch) on bdays, Mom’s Day, Dad’s Day, and always Xmas (the one holiday we go full tilt on) to ONCE PER WEEK???

I’m up for the challenge, I suppose. But it’s a new thought. Dallas, likewise, tends to avoid his family 11 out of 12 months of the year, but then when he goes…he GOES. He’s been gone since slightly before Thanksgiving, ffs. That’s a crazy long time. But he’s been to New York, North Carolina, and Manitoba in that time. He’s been “doing the rounds”.

Anywho, we’ll be back as a duo soon-ish, but for now, you just get me, lovelies. On the plus side, this is the first episode under 15 minutes! Heck, it’s the first episode under 30 minutes.

The goal this year is to make all standard episodes 20-25 minutes, max. And special episodes like blind tastings and w/ special guests to be 45 or under. We shall see. We’re not good at being succinct. Or having self-control.
